When Josh was 7 he attended a local quarter midget
race and within a few months he began racing quarter
midgets at the Oswego County Quarter Midget Club. In
his first race on June 24, 2001 Josh finished second
and in only his 7th start he picked up his first win,
passing AJ Bernys on the last lap of the race.
Though some of his wins were in his early years most
of his success came after moving up to Heavy Honda
in 2005. In 2006 Josh won 4 races, and had 7 top 5's,
missing the championship to Erik Karlson by only 3
points. The following year Josh had his most successful
season winning 7 races, 8 top 3's, and winning his
second classic, but again he lost the championship to
Dalton Doyle. 2008 was Josh's last year in quarter migdets in 7 races he won 5, however due to engine
problems he took most of the year off making his
last race the 2008 Classic. In 2009 Josh moved up to
the Oswego Kartway and raced in the Champ division.
After finishing second in his first race, not much
success was had in the rest of his first year. In
his second season Josh won 1 race and had 8 top 5's.
In 2011 Josh had 13 heat & feature wins and was the
Oswego Kartway track champion. This year Josh is moving
up once again into the SBS devision at the Oswego
Speedway.
